Getting your motorcycle drivers license can be very exciting. The first thing you need to do before you can put your new motorcycle on the road is to obtain state certification and motorcycle insurance. What is required from each state to get your new motorcycle license varies and is detailed in our Motorcycle License Easy Guide™.
There are typically two levels of motorcycle license certification. These include a motorcycle permit and motorcycle drivers license. You must first obtain your learners permit. With your learners permit you may go on to get your new motorcycle license. A motorcycle license or endorsement is the equivalent of an automobile drivers license for motorcycle operation purposes.
